The large diameter helical carbide cutter head has a 6-1/2" cutting circle. This increase in cutting circle causes a larger scallop radius to be formed by the individual knives on the face of the work, resulting in a smoother surface finish. Both 23° and 7° cutterbit geometrics are available for this head configuration.
When the large diameter head is installed, the shortest single piece length increases to 14", and the shortest butted piece length increases to 6". |
